Thanks for the info Countrytime. I may have to try it up above swords one day next week if I can catch a day without bad wind.
Sugar creek has been hit or miss. I have been there 5or6 times in the last 2 months had good days and bad.i am to the point I'm looking to try somewhere else but don't know the lake that well.
Went to Oconee Saturday. Only got 3. Total of four pounds of fish. Biggest was 1lb 15 oz. Fished from noon till 5:15 pm. I was spider rigging. I am new to this so I may have missed them due to in-experience.
Sorry for the picture. The guy at the ramp needed a drink I think.
Skeet I feel your pain. We went Saturday up the Apalachee and fished from 8-4. We caught 8 keepers. Biggest fish was 1lb 7 oz the others were not under a pound. Talked to others on the lake who are excellent spider riggers and they were having little luck as well. They were fishing Richland and Lick. Oconee is in the Dead Sea mode right now. It seems to always get this way about this time of year. The pattern I have seen over the last month is if you do not catch your fish between 8-10 you can about forget it. This of course will change. February pre-spawn awaits us all. We were pushing minnows. By the way nice fish.
Went up north of I 20 on the Apalachee side on Friday and I will have to agree it is dead right now. I am looking forward to better times next month and in March. If this gasoline gets any higher I may have to stay home and fish in a bucket
