    Default Almost time(Hill 6 Sep)

Fished the SC side of the Hill today. Pretty cool this morning and lite breezed and fog, the making of a perfect trolling day. Put out first three rods out in about 18ft and before I could get the fourth out had three keepers. Meet up with Boatman44 and he was catching a few also. Fished as shallow as 8ft marking fish all over. Fish slowed down a lot after 10 but I did manage some very nice fish. Had four white crappie that was very close if not two pounds and one black well over a pound. Final count was 16 very nice crappie all over 10in. It almost time and it looks like its going to be a great fall and winter. So get out there and catch those slabs. Go to your favorite creek more than half way back and start trolling.

Thanks for the report D.I. Sounds like fish are starting to bite all over the lake (I'm hoping so anyway:o). Maybe after a couple days letting the lake settle down (and the wind too) it'll be ON! I'll be out there trying anyways.
