My brother-in-law Robert Souter wanted to take his boat out and run it a bit so we decided to do a little fishing while out there. We went fishing for catfish and had a great time. Took my catfish attracktant and used it and ended up with a decent mess of good channel catfish in no time. Before coming home decided to go looking around for some crappie and saw that there is a huge mayfly hatch going on. If you want to fill your cooler with bream now is the time to go cause of the mayfly. Didn't try for any crappie but gonna try those maybe next week. Surface temp is hanging around 85.
