The Leverette family has set March 6th at 2:00pm for a memorial for their beloved husband, father and our friend. Please try and attend. If you can't make it, you could send the family a card at:
Lake Talquin Lodge
231 Gainey Rd
Quincy, FL 32351
If you need any additional info, I will or others who have a trailer at LTL will help.
The fishing should improve by the 6th.

Thanks Chuck. I wish I could make it.
Not a fishing report...should be in off topic forum.
Yes I know it is not a fishing report, but more people read post's under this heading than those of the off topic. I felt that it was important to inform those of us who have had the pleasure of knowing Rusty, that he has passed. Sorry for this one time, but in a year and a half, this is the first time I have posted an off topic subject like this.
If this offends the forum, then by all means remove my name. It has been a pleasure being part of this forum and I have met a lot of great fishermen who have taught me a lot. I will continue to refer people to Crappie.com who want to learn and meet so great fishermen. Just send me a PM and let me know your decision.

I fully agree with you...Rusty was a good friend. Seems a shame that 1 or 2 members take offense when anything other than a fishing report is posted on this board. My suggestion to them is just skip over any post they feel might offend them. No one is forcing them to read any of the posts.
God Bless You For Rembering And Respecting Others And This Is The Right Place. Losing A Part Of The Talquin Family Is A Report From That Lake.
Chuck, if this post gets removed I will never visit crappie.com again. Rusty was a great friend to just about everyone on this site. He and his family were and are Lake Talquin to me. Thanks again for the information.
crappiemasters tourney was dedicated to him yesterday, I was glad to be a participant
I only met Rusty once, but you couldnt tell it he spoke to me as if he had known me all his life, and was very helpful. Sorry i didnt meet him sooner.T houghts and prayers go out to his family. God bless
