Got to the lake around 7:30. It was a cold morning but a beautiful day. The wind didn't kick up until around 1:30 and thats when we left. Water was stained and we didn't catch a lot of fish. But we caught some quality fish. Ended up with 7 in the livewell and threw back about that many. We released the ones in the livewell back at the boat landing.
These 2 are still swimming and full of eggs...2 lbs 6 oz and 1 lb 15 oz

I don't believe a word of it. Someone on the dock had fish for you to hold up. That don't even look like you......
I was going to go out to Blackshear today but wouldnt of gotten there till after church. By then the wind was up pretty good. Looks like yall had some success anyway. I went yesterday and fought the wind for a while then packed it in. I beginning to wonder what it would be like to go fishing with no wind and nice cool weather!
Nice slabs! Water looks to be at full pool also!
Nice mess of fish Tim, where did you catch them and how?
Nice pics, good to see open water.
looks like he was at cedar creek from T&T`s background
retired and now i will always fish
We were longline trolling from Collins Branch to Lincoln Pinch. The bite was very slow early in the day and picked up around 11:00. We tried different depths and trolled anywhere from .6 to 1.0 mph. No particular color was better than another. They were hard to pattern. The first picture was taken at the boat landing at Cedar Creek just before we released then and the 2nd picture was taken out in the mouth of Cedar Creek where that one was caught.
