To me any thing about fishing be it rods, boats, bait, where to go, what you catch, ect... is not off topic! Things like football, basketball, or what you ate for dinner, How bad Alabama beat Georgia last year are what I would call off topic!!!

I try to keep the main board uncluttered and dedicated to crappie fishing not repairing our boats and motors. we have an off topic board where we can do that and keep our main board for fishing reports and sharing tips with each other.
