Being from the south i never realized how big ice fishing really was . Hope all is doing well and look forward to get back south onwere i can drive my boat out and not my four wheeler. I am looking forward to West Point in March also. A group of us, 8 in total, plan on being there in Mid March and we got a group, total of 30, for the last week of March. Realy looking forward to it.

Most of the lodging is back in LaGrange closer to the interstate. Several hotels to choose from. Probably be better to just Google and shop the rates. The Quality Inn & Suites is where we stayed for the last tournament over there and they had hook ups for the boats and enough room in the parking lot.

Southern Harbour on the Alabama side is great place. 1133 County Road, Lanett, Ala. 334-644-3881. They have Cabins that will handle 4-8 people. Approx $150 per night for 6 person cabin. Two bathrooms, good parking, outside elec for charging batteries. You could actually sleep 8 if you want. Great place to clean fish also. Security is good.

booked me and some buddies few rooms at the super 8 for march 25th thru the 29th. Fired up it will be the first west point trip for 4 of them. after the last two years of pics and me having to have the fish fry's i have pulled them off Weiss. Got the room for 40 night and they have boat hook ups, so as long as they have clean sheets were good.
