I fished both lakes regularly for some years with great success, the fish were plentiful. Iammonia went bone dry except a small creek down the middle two tears back. Anyone with a wash tub that floated took out thousands of fish. Stayed that way for a while, then the ochclocknee flooded and refilled it in about 24 hours along with about 500 acres of plantation land surrounding it. I feel it might take a few more years to come back strong...... Now miccuksukeee is a different story. The corp put in a spill way only by doing so they lowered the water level by several ft. The best fishin hole was the back third of the lake which now is non fishable. This lake is also redefining it self. Both lakes are 20 minutes from me but I've had to many bad days I've decided to give them a few years for their eco systems to restore themselves.....
