Ran into a nice young fellow at Walmart in Milledgeville named Murray Kitchens he stated he visits here daily, but hasn't got around to signing up just yet. We talked about crappie fishing at Hamburg State Park. He stated he recently caught a 2.25lb slab there. It was a pleasure meeting you Murray. I 'll take a quote from the movie O Brother Where Art Thou ? and I'm sure the crappie.com family would agree when I say COME ON IN THE WATER IS FINE!

Welcome to ya, my wife and I have fished Hamburg a good bit but haven't been in about 2 years. Used to catch alot of Shellcracker down where the creek comes into the lake, sure is stumpy but good fishing just watch out for the Gators.
