I joined this forum to learn and share mine and others fish tails, to see pictures of the slabs caught and to get info on helping better my crappie fishing skills. That is what this forum was made for! And as far as the bickering goes, everyone has their own opinions, why people would get mad about what another fisherman says or does is just foolish. everyone is their own person.
my take on it is we used to talk about everything on this board, but now if someone wants to sell their boat or talk about the catfish they caught people get upset if it aint in the off topic forum. This forum was built without an off topic, thats what made it a GREAT place for us to chat. We used to talk about what was going on in our lives but not anymore, we did that because we were all friends and not so quick to be judgmental. IF it was something you didnt want to read then we didnt click on it. Some of you may remember when Jessie had the stalker problem. Everyone was so helpful but these days if someone were to post anything like that winers would want it moved to another forum. I miss what The Ga crappie.com used to be. Now days even one of our moderators dont even post on this forum. ever think about why
don`t know about bird dog but jimmy s had sergury and wasnot able to git on the pc. he is better now so maby he will be posting some.
Crappieday I am going to agree with Slingshot. Since the middle of September Lake Allatoona has been rising 1 to 2 feet a day or falling 1 to 2 feet a day. The middle part of the lake has so much trash in it you can’t fish.

Just maybe everyone is upset because the Lakes or either 5 or 6 ft. above full and muddy or 5 to 6 ft below full and muddy and they can"t catch any Crappies to to talk about or maybe they are upset about Obama Care, don"t worry the fishing will soon be getting better.. Good Fshn.
Still check this board twice a day (morning and night). I think of most as my friends (though I have only met 3 personally) and there are many new people that I think contribute positively to the board. I have many changes going on in my life now, have much fear for the future, but there are many more people that have it worst than I do. I don't talk much about it because I do not want to burden others with my problems. I have read some bad things said about one another, but they were usually followed by heart felt apologies. I have read many opinions about things that should not be on here, but opinions are like noses (you know I am really cleaning this analogy up), everyone has one. I think when you hurt people's feelings or do not give thier suggestions a chance, they do not visit the board anymore. Change is slow and not always appreciated or welcome, but much of it has been good for the board. I try to think about the friends I have made on this board and the heart felt stories that have been shared. That is what keeps me coming back day after day. Still pretty dog gone good in my opinion. Maybe something bad is going on, but there is still much good on here.
Slabmsters, Tony, if you are going to post the results on here maybe you should post where and how the fish were caught along with the Winners and weights. Then we can load the boat and head out.
