:rolleyes:this forum has certainly change. Nice to see reelcrappie post. I wanted see more about the type of jigs people are using, how they caught them etc etc. We used to share everything about crappie fishing in here. But lately no one is sharing these topics. I have no problem about the slabmasters information, as for some of them have been with us from the start of this forum. Just my 2 cents;)

I believe everyone on here loves to hear about them crappies we caught whether in a tournement or just on the lake fishing. I like reading about all your adventures, but really don't post much. I fish the tournements and haven't won any in my four years of fishing them. Catch sine pretty fair size ones, but the big ones elude me during the tounements. I would be happy to share my knowledge of fishing these lakes with other people on here but i will post after the tournement, and let you know what colors speed and depth I find them.. Last tournement with ga slabmasters, we turned in about 6 lbs of fish, colors were all tree frog and john deer green, depth of the big ones were in 23 ft of water fishing 12 ft. The next Crappie USA tournement on Eufala the water on the lake totally changed, trash everywhere the fish were back in the river, colors were blue silver, or blue/black charteuse, depth was still 23-27 ft. fishing at 14 ft. That is what I like too see posted by our members here. I only keep 11=16 in fish. everyone enjoy the posts, there are more to come...

I post to much so I cut back a little. I haven't been on the water since nov 7 at tobo tourney. I'm going Thanksgiving morning and will post the results..
When I started the Slabfest.org forum Ed ask where I wanted it. I told him we had to many on Ga forum so put it on the main menu to stand alone. I hope I don't upset anyone, ever on here.. I have made life long friends here and still consider all of you to be some of the best people in the world.

I blame it on lots of rain and muddy water, hunting season, working and weekend projects, the moon phase, Global warming, and Rush Limbaugh.
But seriously, I like this board and have noticed just like on other boards, there's always slow times and I think we're in one and it's nothing more than that.
