Thread: Hill Report - SAT 11/14/09

My son came to visit for the weekend and we headed to Dordon Cr on SAT to try the crappie bite. Hoped for some decent water after all the rain earlier this week and was pleasantly surprised that it was barely stained in the mid-section of the lake. Caught 25 and kept 18, including a solid 2# slab. All came on minnows fished over brush and wood in 25-30 feet. Hard to believe the lake is 2' over full pool - - it was 14' below full this week last year!. Beautiful fall day to be on the lake.
