Are there any major brands that don't put ethanol in their gas, Exon, Cheveron, ect. and I wonder how you would find out other than visiting each station? Is their a web site that list this sorta thing? I'd be willing to pay more for gas that dosen't have it.

Shep, the Citgo in Knoxville does not have ethanol in their gasoline. Do you know which store i am talking about?

Couldn`t have said it any better Mr. Bill. I guess I could ride around all day checking Fla./ Ga. gas stations....grrrrrr!

They are story's out there with out it, you just have to find them. Thats better than waiting till you have trouble and then look for them. If enough paople ask for it, they might get the picture, not everyone wants ethanol gas!

Agreed...but this is in Florida.

Yes...I know! I`ve got an 18 ft. Bass boat with a 200 Merc in the shop now that I think ethenol/ water is the problem. I`ll fix and sell ...and hopefully soon...I just wanna fish guys!

what did your motor do or start to sound like when you first noticed something was wrong. The reason that I ask is I think my friend may have the same problem. His would bogg down but would never stop running but had no power.

yep...thats it...at least for me. It`s a serious problem. And I don`t let mine sit...I use it.
