Bought my second Husky after owning a Husky Rancher 50 (bow saw)for 20 years. The rancher was still running stong, but I needed one that would cut through a 5' (through the middle) red oak that had fallen. It cut through that oak like soft butter. Huskys are AMAZING. They have more power than you will ever need. I have even bought a Husky blower. I have never had to take any of them to the shop except to replace a gas tank filter. I like quality and reliability. You may pay a little more, but you definately get what you pay for. I will hopefully never have to buy another chain saw or piece of yard equipement, but if I do, it will be a Husky.

it took me a few weeks but i finally got around to getting my chainsaw. i took evryones advice and got the husky and i really like it so far. i got the 445 with the 18" bar, not the rancher. the rancher was a little beyond my budget. after my purchase we were discussing the gas prices and they were telling me that gas has gotten "cheaper" with all the additives and ethynol and they were seeing a lot problems with peoples 2 stroke equipment. they said not to store gas more than 2 months and run all gas out of your trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc. it makes sense because all my yard equipment has started acting up in the last year. i thought the bp fuel didn't have ethynol but i went there yesterday and it said 10% ethynol on the pump.
