    Thumbs up dock shooting reel


    Bass Pro in Macon ,GA has all of the "RECONDITIONED" reels marked way down this past weekend ( the lady at the counter said most of those reels were new but the packages were messed up , I took the tops off of them and they were new ) I bought 12 of them Pfluegers and Synergys trigger spins at 1/2 to 2/3 off.

    I shoot with Shimano Spirex SR1000RG. Has the quick fire trigger and quick adjust drag on the bottom, both are huge for shooting docks. If your just starting out, get the spirex or the one Earl mentioned so you dont have the flip the bail. Flipping the bail will only slow you down so thats why I like the quick fire trigger shimanos.
