Question about a Boat Title

My boat was paid for about 3 months ago and we still haven't received the title from the bank. I am suppose to get one, aren't I??? When I finished paying for the motorcycle I received a title and I assume the same holds true for the boat.

Your boat and motor will have seperate titles and your trailer should have a Certificate of Origin.

Not all states have titles for their boats....I bought a boat from South Carolina and in trying to get it registered I found out that South Carolina does have titles on boats....I may be wrong about this but I don't think that Georgia is a "title" state on boats....you might want to check the dealer where you bought the boat and see what they say....

I just bought one from out of State and I am required to provide a STATEMENT of Origin from the Manufacturer when I mail in the Boat registration form. Since it is new I also have to have a notarized bill of sale. I bought a new boat in 2007 and all it has was a Statement of Origin also.
