You are going to love the way that boat fishes. It looks just like the one I had and it fished great, fast too. I sold it to smitty couple of years ago and he's still fishing it. Sets deep in the water and the wind didn't blow it around to bad. mine was 14' with a 50 yamaha and it wou8ld scoot, cheap on gas too. Good looking boat, hope you enjoy it.

I think you'll like your boat Keith. Those boats were built well and fish good also. I loved the one Schief bought from me. The stuff I used was Poli-Glo, but I ain't formed an reliable opinion of it yet. The part of the boat that was in good shape and not oxidized is still looking nice and shiny, but the top edge isn't looking as good as it did when I first put the Poli-Glo on. Sorta faded and milky looking now. I am thinking that maybe I did not prep it correctly, so after this fishing season, I am going to wet sand it and get it down to the original finish. I was going to gelcoat it, but I think I am going to put Poli-Glo to the true test. I guess it will be this summer before I can form an honest and reliable opinion about it.
