Default Has this ever happened to you?

I left out at 7:00 am today to meet Henry at the Waffle House for a 9:00 breakfast to start a 2 day striper fishing trip on Westpoint. Sounds good but i pull into Lagrange on time and have alot of trouble finding this particular WHouse. I decide to call him for better derctions but he doesn't answer. Well i go the other way on the interstate and still cannot find it, then another interstate merges in so i'm thinking that i had the wrong 85/185

I travel this new interstate and think that i might have found the correct WHouse but he is not there. I am now 45 minutes late and decide to head to Highland Marina in a hurry before he launchs the boat. Time for a short cut and on a 50/50 chance i try to cut cross country back to the first interstate to save time...Boy was that the wrong thing to do.

After traveling through 3 different small towns i run up on Callaway Gardens (never been here) and i am just about to freak out when i see a sign that says Westpoint 21 miles. Oh boy, heading the right way now...Wrong again.

I phone Henry again and he answers this time. I ask are you at Highland yet, he says NO, I'm at the IHOP in Columbus. I said Thats why i cant find you, he said that You do know that today is friday right. Yes i said , I thought we were goin to stay fri and sat night? WRONG againHe Laughs and i tell him that i was lost and where i think i'm at and he laughs again and informs me that i'm still lost cause that sign didn't mean the lake, it meant the town. He then invites me to eat with him but i really have no idea where i am at and tell him that I am heading home when i figure out where it is:o He laughs and we hang up.

After 30 minutes of riding i finally end up at the city limits of Lagrange where this all started at, an hour and a half lost and I am finally heading back to Macon, a little hot under the collar, i might add. It was 12:30 when i got home. Boy what a bummer and i have told Henry to forget the WHouse in the mornin, I'll just meet him at the Marina. I hope that this goes better tommorrow:D

Smitty, see what you missed out on ! Joe bring lots of clothes. I dont know what the chill factor will be at 60 mph. I have seen ice form on the boat.
