Hi y'all thanks!
I haven't fished since about 1986 when I was living in the UP. I used to love fishing, but I stopped fishing a couple of years after we moved down to SW Michigan and became "trolls". Looking to give fishing in the LP another go and get back into it this year after I figure out what gear and stuff I will need here in Central Michigan (Lansing area).
I don't have a boat, not even a kayak, so I will be trying to get it done from shore. Maybe I’ll get some waders, if that makes a difference. Not sure where to go, but I heard there are crappie in Lake Ovid out at Sleepy Hollow State Park. So, I’ll probably start there.
