I'm now just getting back into fresh water fishing after being an avid striped bass fisherman for over three decades. The decline in the striped bass fishery has sent me looking an alternative to stripers. So why not go back to where it all started, the sweet water. I figured it has come full circle now. I'll fish for anything at the moment, but crappie have always held a special spot in my heart since I was a wee lad. So figure I'll focus one one of the funnest and most delicious fresh water fish to be had. God bless America
