Thanks, all! I lived in NC for 19 years, moved back home to Kansas 4 years ago and immediately started fishing spinning reels again. I enjoyed fly fishing in the NC mountains, but am equally enjoying hunting crappie. I joined the forum to learn, I am far from a good fisherman. My wife and I are shooting our own plastic baits and I broke out the old fly tying vise last week to start tying crappie jigs. Looking forward to being involved.
