Thanks everyone! Crappie newbie here from Michigan. I mostly bass fish but really want to take a step outside my comfort zone this year by targeting new species and crappie are at the top of the list! Just booked a guys fishing/camping weekend with the intent of targeting crappie on a Michigan dam impoundment in early June. Trying to soak up lots of info and build out some tackle to prepare for this spring.
