Thank you kindly folks an excellent welcome. It's about to warm up and I'll be a bit preoccupied with trout for a little while but I'm going after crappie this year with the fly rod too. I needed to see some jig patterns for a buddy and tying for crappies in general. I've had really good luck in the past with nymph patterns and catching crappies. So a Duck Duck Go search for "crappie jigs" brought me here.

I like what I've seen so far, plenty to read and look at that's for sure.
