Looking forward to reading posts. Tuning in here from north central Ohio. My 13 year old son and I are kayak fisherman. He focuses on bass while I typically target crappie, perch, and walleye. We generally fish at least once a week across the state. Oh and my wife gets a kick out of the old saying " a fishing pole is nothing more than a hook on one end and a jerk on the other". She laughs quite hysterically when hearing it. All in good fun of course.
