Hello all,
I am new to forum but not new to fishing. I been doing some fishing for many years(45 or more). i was born by the Coosa River in Alabama and my Uncles taught me fishing basics early in life(minnows 4 crappie). I joined the Marines and traveled many places always including fishing as a past time activity. in fact , only placed i didnt fish at all was in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan for obvious reasons. I now live in south metro atlanta and looking for opportunities to fish for crappie in the areas local or places i can drive too. Crappie are still my #1 fish to Catch n Consume. i dont have a boat(yet) and wanted to find the group that take people out on boats fishing for crappie. i know crappie are seasonal so i want to experience the most bang for my buck. i would really love it if someone could lead me in the right direction. thanks all and I am grateful for this site. i cant wait to fish and post some pics. i would like to build some bonds like i had in the Marines. thanks Warren Retired "Gunny" USMC
ohhh I may be traveling to Louisville to visit my family Labor Day.. are crappie in Kentucky?
