Hello all. Glad to be here. My name is showing as "The Rooster" but most everyone just calls me Rooster on other sites. I'm new to actually targeting crappie while fishing since I have primarily been a bass fisherman for the last 20 odd years but recently my interest was peaked when a friend managed to catch two crappie on bass crankbaits that were quite large compared to what I normally see crappie looking like at the lake we fish. They were both over a foot long and quite thick where most of the time we catch them about the size of our hand. I didn't know this lake had crappie that size in it and now I want to learn to catch these fish.
