Thanks guys getting back into fishing with my son who is 15, we bought a used tracker 1998 that is in pretty good shape. We started doing some ice fishing and that translated into open water. WE fish a reservoir that is flood control but has a good supply of crappie if we can figure out how to catch them. One year we actually used our vexilar and fished over the edge of boat like ice fishing. This year I am hoping we can use some slip bobbers and maybe jigging. This looks like a really good forum with tons of info.
