New guy checking in.
Just thought I'd introduce myself to the group.
I'm a bit of a throwback bass chaser.Never missed a single day of school layed up...Skipped plenty to chase those basses..
Fished bass tournaments from 18-35yrs old..(43yrs old this week) Never did worth a flip,but went to nearly every lake in Texas,none the less.Learned alot,and seen a bunch.
When the lakes got crazy crowded,and fuel went through the roof..Priorities changed..Kiddo,starting a side bus.,and full time work.Focused a bit more on deer hunting,and rigging out our lease in West Texas..
Long story short,I bought a War Eagle in N.Arkansas a week ago.Can't wait to drag blues,Striper's,Black's,Bream,and especially Crappie over the side of it! I can't remember the last time I was this excited to go "fishing"..Tournaments ruined me for years.Back,and it feels good.
North Toledo Bend,Lake o the pines,Richland Chambers are on the short list.Whitney will get hammered regularly..If in fact I do well from time to time know this..I'll throw 99% of em back..A few blackened catfish tacos will do me 2,or 3 times a year.

Btw,BarryG..We drove from Fayette on up to Springfield on a handful of backroads..It was gorgeous! Sure hope the rains lay off a tad...Beautiful country,no doubt.
