Thank you all.....fairly new at getting into Crappie but have been fishing all my life. Grew up with a fly rod in my hands in a trout stream in Upstate NY. We go to Lake Talquin as much as possible and stay a few days...usually at Talquin Lodge. Right now it is getting hot and the bite has slowed down. Got a few this last wk end but really had to work to get them...hey....that's why we call it fishing and not catching.
