Thread: Geoffrey in Louisiana

Hi there, I'm Geoffrey, I'm 37 from a small town in Washington Parish Louisiana. I'm pretty much a bank fisherman. I fish one small pond & also an old gravel pit that has been stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish and also white crappie. The small one has bass, white crappie & a few bluegill. The only bad thing is that my rig really isn't setup for crappie and bluegill although I caught a crappie yesterday on a white red eye shad. I bought my setup from Wal-Mart 2 yrs ago and I got the Shakespeare catch more series but I got the surf and pier for incase I went saltwater fishing. It's a 7ft med-heavy rod and it came spooled up with 14# mono so to make a decent cast from the bank I need at least 1/4oz but 3/8oz is the best. Plus I'm always looking for new ponds or lakes around Washington and Tangi Parishes. It's nice to be here
