Thread: Newbie from GA

Hello everyone,

This is my first post. I would like to thank the members of this site for sharing their knowledge and experience.

This is my first year of crappie fishing. I started crappie fishing this spring. I have read posts of this forum and lots of other articles for few months before I started crappie fishing, caught lots of crappies. My bait choice was small crappie minnow. Also caught bass and small striper bass while crappie fishing with small crappie minnow.

My rig is 4'6" ultra light rod, 4 lbs fluorocarbon line and size 6 Mutu Light circle hook.

I am planning to use plastic jig instead of minnow.
