Thread: Time to contribute

I've been reading on here for almost a year, I'm 57 and use to fish a lot till family happened...... most of us have been there. While I was wrapped up in family I got into racing mini sprints, (go figure) building and racing them, at 52 I decided to go one more season then hang up the racing gloves. I bumped around with a couple hobbies before deciding to get back into fishing, did the bass thing, it was ok but didn't see the point in buying lures, burning gas to catch and release. Then a buddy got me fishing crappie, ahhh, this makes sense to me, catch fish and eat them, or give fish to family and friends who like fish. I've been reading all I can and have got to a point I hope I can contribute to the forum now and then.
