Seems like a great site so thought I would join. Don't know much about crappies, mostly walleyes and muskies. Thought I would pick some brains from you folks. Nothing like a relaxing day catching crappies and a good meal to boot! But still waiting for ice to melt on the lakes. Not much for ice fishing!

Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it. Just received a B'n'M Russ Bailey rod from amazon I ordered and they sent me a casting rod instead of the spinning rod. Very upset about it. Just bought a new spinning reel for it too! Now I have to decide whether I throw on a casting reel on it or send it back. What a hassle! I have had this happen too many times with amazon and am tired of it. I think I am done with them!
