Hello Crappie.com members and viewers.

My name is Rick AKA "OK Crappie Slayer". I'm from the proud state of Oklahoma and primarily fish Ft Gibson lake 99% of the time. My entire family enjoys spending time on the lake and we try and invite/invove as many of their friends as we can so we may introduce them to the art of fishing.

I tie my own hairline jigs for fishing although I don't mind fishing with natural baits as long as I'm catching fish. I recently started Spider rigging and have found this site very useful in terms of setting up the rig itself as well as the do's and don'ts of spider rigging.

I also recently purchased the HDS-7 touchscreen and find it very easy to use although I find myself learning more and more everytime I use it. It also helps that I grew up on the lake and understand what I should be looking at.

Anyway, that's it for now. If you're on Ft Gibson, wave at the red/white Champion fish n ski when you go by.
