Howdy folks and thanks for the welcomes. I am down in La Porte and cannot wait for this time of year to start fishing the marina's on Somerville and Wright Patman. Don't have a boat so I'm limited to either bumming a ride (splitting gas, bait and groceries of course) or fishing for these delectable creatures wherever I can. In the spring, summer and fall, I'm pretty much of a saltwater guy wading the surf and bays for trout and flounder throwing mainly topwaters and plastics. Grew u in the Appalachian Mountains fishing lakes, rivers and ponds for bass and bluegill. I love reading the reports on this forum and have learned a tremendous amount from your posts. I'm grateful. Looking forward to posting and meeting you folks. I'm going somewhere this weekend, even with this blasted weather. It's been 5 weeks since I've fished...I've organized and reorganized my tackle box as much as I can....am getting twitchy. Again, thank you. Scott
