Thanks Y'all! After too long a hiatus from fishing, I got a good boat and want to get a jump start on crappie fishing in the Montgomery, AL vicinity. My neighbor has a place on the Alabama river, and turned me on to some good crappie fishing in the river.

i live 10 minutes from Lake Jordan, and have begun with jigging buried brush piles and known crappie schooling spots. Am going to have to get something that looks more tasty to them! The Humminbird says they are down there.
