I'm always checking out the forum but finally decided to join. From the great state of Louisiana and spend my spare time fishing the Atchafalaya basin out of Morgan City. Down here we refer to Crappie as Sac-a-lait. If my grandfather ever heard me call them crappie he would say" boy thats a sac-a-lait" with a french accent. I was raised in the swamp where commercial fishing was a way of life for my family. Over the years I've pretty much taught myself the ins and outs of fishing sac-a-lait with a little help from forums like this one. Glad to be here and looking forward to making some posts.
