    Default Newbie from Louisiana

    Hello to every one. I mainly bass fish but am trying to get into the crappie scene. Have not crappie fished since I was a little kid. I have a trip booked for Caney Creek Reservoir by Chatham La. the first week in June and would like to give em a try. This will be my first time there, can't wait. Well I guess Henderson will just have to do until then. Can anyone tell me how the crappie fishing is there? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Richard

    From Texas too, and I have a young friend that fishes Caney Creek Lake and he swears the
    crappie fishing cannot be better anywhere. There are some video out there that shows some real nice
    lookin' water, but gators and snakes live there too. Enjoy the forum.
