This is the most informative web site on the web. I found it by accident four days ago. I was looking for a stick steering crappie boat and happened to see one on here for sale. I love catching crappie, but I also love reading all about crappie fishing and the different technique too.
Thanks
Jim

RUST NEVER SLEEPS
Thank y'all! A little history on myself. I am 72 years old and I am retired, living on Lake Bob Sadlin near Pittsburg/Mt Pleasant, Texas. I am a Vietnam Vet that served with the 3rd Marine Div. in Dong Ha/Quangtri Province in the Northern I Corp.
I was a possessed bass fisherman for many years, and after I retired I went bass fishing almost everyday. After about five straight years I burned myself out. I first bought a Ranger and had it for years then after I retired I bought a new X21 Xpress with a 200 hp Yamaha. I had bass fished so much after I retired that I wore my rotor cuff out in my right shoulder. I had to have an operation on it.
My health kind of declined some and I had to start taking a bunch of medicine. To make a long story short, some of it causes me to get very dizzy. I fell out of my Xpress and numerous time fell inside my boat. I had to stop fishing in a platform boat. Haven't been fishing in over two years now.
I am selling my Xpress this week end. I put it on Craig's list last Monday with pictures and as I write I have had about 25 serious buyers wanting it, since it still looks brand new. A young man from Dallas said, "I want that boat." He is coming this Sat. I am going to buy a Xpress HD16PF-SS after I sale this one. I hope stick steering isn't to hard to get use too.
I was introduced to crappie fishing from a friend who has now passed away, This old man was a world class crappie fisherman. I think back, and laugh now, when he frist asked me to go crappie fishing with him, I told him I would buy the minnows. He said, "MINNOWS! I don't allow those things in my boat. That's cheat 'un. He taught me how to jig fish and I dearly love it. I will be able to fish setting down in a boat without becoming dizzy. Thanks to all who responded and good fishing to all.
