Hey guys I appreciate it. I'm moving slow at this, I know but hey I am TURTLEgs....

Here's a little background about me.

I'm a displaced Okie (Oklahoman) and I've been living in NC between 8-10 years. It's where my wife is from.

I love this state, and claim it as my adopted home. I must say the change over had it's ups and down plus I was shocked to learn alot of ya'll native NCarolinans do not consider Oklahoma to be Southern.

My fishing experience in NC has been lacking, being a new dad twice for the last 7 years has done that to me. We have a small neighborhood pond right in my back yard. We don't own it, but we have permission to fish it from the owners. It's mostly stocked with Crappie. But I have seen a small amount of LM Bass pulled out. It's all catch and release.

I'm here to learn some new tips and tricks. Make some new friends, be informed and be informative.

I appreciate ya'll having this forum. Keep up the good work.

    Turt.
