    Default Brim killers


    id ont tye flys but a buddy of mine is wanting a few brim killers. wat is a brim killer? can i tye int on brim hook? wat materials do i nedd? thanks guys

    It looks like a simple pattern if you want to tie them. Black chenille, white sili legs and squirrel tail for the wing. You could add some lead if you wanted it to sink quickly.

    I tie them on a 1/64 size 6 hook and the bluegill kill these things while on the bed...

    basicly simple foam creatures with legs?i tie things like that sometimes,but i don't usually bother with adding wing material.fish don't seem to care and take my bugs just fine

    The bream killer is my favorite bait. I use the Ginny feather on top rather then the squirrel. A little trouble finding the right size feather. Believe me, this feather acts as a parachute as it falls slowly down. This is the presentation you want to use. Make a double cast in the air to dry the feather and lay it down. It wobbles slowly down. Dynomite. I have been using this tecnique for over 45 years. Try and you will see.
