I fish the area corp lakes mostly within 40 minutes of Tupelo. I grew up fishing along the Tenn-Tom for crappie ranging from Fulton to Aberdeen pools. Never Bream fished the Tenn-Tom just the "bream" lakes in the area. Ex. Lake Lamar Bruce etc.

I wonder if anyone on Crappie.com is a purist? Of all the friends and relatives that fly fish (about a dozen people), I know of only one purist- my oldest nephew and I have only seen him fish for trout.

cool,so there's more of us types of fly fishers around lol i seriously don't see why a trout wouldn't eat one of my flys even connected to a leader of green power pro [url=http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=138847&id=100000717546528[/url] did catch a brook trout on a jig i tied on the same power pro line.the water wasn't real clear tho,and these were stocked trout.it may be different in a clear stream with wild trout.but i will be mostly goin for panfish,if i get a trout i won't complain tho.my cousin went on a fly fishing trip for just trout.im not sure if he's a purist type.i would love to see how he'd like hooking into some fat gills on the fly tho!i bet he'd love it,gills are easier to get at than trout.
