Default ME and Doug went fishin....

Me and Doug went fishin this mornin.
Caught a few, lost a few, finally got a keeper.
Guys, am afraid it has come to that time of year where I return to salt water fishing.
Actually, today is the first day fishing since the "Hickory Point" Slabfest, just been trying to conserve money, seems like every time I leave the house, it cost money, etc.
So, today Doug took me up on my offer to go fishing over here on the Indian River Lagoon. I made the offer after I had to cancel the last Monroe fest cause of some kind of chest pains that night, etc, etc. Me and Doug were supposed to fish that tourney together, etc.
Anyway, I got home, was dog tired, had to relax awhile, layed down and just now got up. Is almost 11pm now.
So, here's a couple pics for ya'll, and I'll see ya next Fall..................

Thanks for the trip on a new body of water Danny, I really was amazed on the way that Ranger Banshee performed in that 6" to 2 foot of water! The official certified scale weighed that drum in at 9 lbs. 2 ozs. when I got home. Next trip is on me, thanks again.:D

    Happy Easter

    10-4 Doug;
    9 lbs, not too shabby.
Naw, I didn't go back this mornin, just now got up (8am).
Too many beers, and friend came by with jug of rum, put me out rest of the night. Plus, forgot, today is "Easter", not supposed to kill fish on Easter.
Glad to see you made it back OK.
Man that's quite a drive for a day's fishin, whenever we went over there we always spent the night, etc...., specially after a day on the water.
OK, See every one next Fall.
John, what am I supposed to do with all these dad-gummed Stickers LOL :D
Anybody want one, just call, etc.......

Wow Danny!!!...You are a brave man to go out with Doug. I just hope he didn't take his B.U.D with him:D...Glad you two could get out and get some fishing time in before it gets too hot. I hope to get down there this Fall/Winter and do some fishing with you guys.

    Hey Danny!!!
Glad you are out there enjoying yourself. Looks like a good day.
Kev-Man was here in Mississippi with me this last week. (Spring Break).
We went turkey hunting, but didn't get the old bird. Kev had to go back on Sunday,
so life here is a little lonely.
Hope things are better for you now.

Danny, save the fuel and the clean up head aches!!! Just invite me over to show me a good place or 2 to launch my boat and go out with me for a few hours to correct my casting technique for those inshore salties again. All ya need is the time, your gear and some sort of ability to know where a couple might be hanging around waiting on a hook. You can ask Chucker (glad to see you in here again too you ol poop) I have a boat that can just about fish your area without too much trouble.
