Thanks to all the forum members we met at Talquin last week.
Thanks to Rusty for his hospitality.
We fished with the best that’s for sure.
We’ve never experienced crappie that big before.

We had great fishing and met wonderful folks.
We’re looking forward to a return visit.

Only hit one stump,,very gently
Lost our share of jigs
Only caught 1 gar
Had a close encounters with a gator (close enough for me anyway!)

I hate that I missed you last week while you was down there, but I heard that you had a very good trip. You was definitely fishing with one of Talquin's best and I knew you would not be disappointed. Maybe the next time you are down I'll be able to be there....Glad you had a safe trip home.

Now we learned you to fish and chewbacca you might think you one of us cousins. It was good meeting you and your better half, I know you had a good trip. Oh by the way those ain't gators just large lizards.

Glad you had a good trip, I didnt get to fish it this weekend but I will be there this coming Friday at daylight. Hope they still shallow, been so long since I jigged I dont know if I remember how to do it LOL
