Default Cant verify this, but a

friend told me that the game comission went into a fish camp yesterday on the s end of Kissimmee and arrested some fellows staying in a cabin.
He thought they might have been from Georgia or S.Carolina, he wasnt sure about that.
They estimated that they had close to a 1000 fish in coolers.
    Anybody else hear about this?

I just hope that (if it's true) the FWC takes all them fish and distributes them to an orphanage, assisted lving homes, battered women safe houses and the list goes on and on. Lots of places need food and are tight on their budget.

I thought everyone would enjoy it! I knew someone three years ago that made it on the site. Caught taking peanut trailers out into the ocean to make a reef. Gee----no one was going to notice that deal?!?!?!?!?!?

    Thumbs up Arrest

I sent an e mail to a friend of mine who works in law enforcement near Lake Wales.

He tells me that information was gotten and 5 men from South Carolina at a fish camp on the south end of Lake Kissimmee were confronted and found to have 1300 fish in their possession. Of course they were arrested and charged.

IMHO it is just like stealing from all of us.

Thats a shame about the fish and the small fine that they got. They should have a fine for over the limit and one for being stupid. But hey you gotta look for the silver lining cause they are already dead. The less shellcrackers the more minnows for specks.
I aint here to tell you anything. You want to know what Im doing....pm me and meet me on the lake.

Thumbs down Here is the incident report.

Officer Jim Adams received an anonymous complaint regarding several anglers keeping over their bag limit of panfish at Grape Hammock Fish Camp on Lake Kissimmee. When he arrived, Officer Adams was initially unable to locate the suspects, but located their vehicle and camp. The camp had eight large coolers in plain view. After the suspects returned to their camp, Officer Adams received permission to inspect their vehicle, camp and the coolers. The eight coolers contained a large number of shellcracker and bluegill panfish. Officer Adams charged the four anglers with exceeding their possession limit of panfish and seized nearly 1,300 fish. This case was featured in several media outlets
