My vote goes for Monroe Park at St. Johns-seems to have quality fish on par with Talquin in my opinion. Nice amenities/security at the Park.

the lake monroe park looks real nice...you can even camp there...the one off of 17 92!!! they do charge to launch the boats there though ($2) but the facilities look just as nice as Hickory Point!!

Yeppir that's me...name change to protect the innocent-seems that I chose a username that except for the slashmark was the same as someone else's. I elected to change to new one.
