It is getting hot, we caught about 35 and kept 22 of the that were 10 inches or bigger. One of the females had half her tail gone from fanning a bed, no eggs in her so she had spawned.

Just fishing the river, marking fish at 14-16 feet and jigging for them with minnows tipped on crappie rigs, 1 oz of weight to keep you vertical. Can hardly weight till tomorrow and Monday.

Most all of the fish we are catching are within 18 inches of the bottom. Have seen several people trying to catch them in shallow water but they are not there yet.
