The last 3 nights have locked the jaws of the Crappie here. The next couple of days in the mid 70's will probably turn them on. They are holding in deeper water, 7 to 16 feet and just loaded with eggs and will very soon do it. Looks like the dark of the moon will be the trigger here. Hope so.
Before it got so cold, a number of fish were being caught and we caught some real nice ones, filleted 22 all over 11 inches. Yummy.
I think we might stay a couple of days longer and try to get it in the good ones.
