Thanks Tom, I think I will give it a try Friday, Ive been wanting to for some time. Would that be close to Lake Cresent Resort? Im going to try and get a map to the ramp off Google and was wondering if it was close to that. Thinking I can take 100 from here in LAke City and go the entire way. Thanks for all your help, if you see me out there besure to introduce yourself.
We are going to Crescent again tomorrow (Wednesday).
Just wondered if anyone has been to the Dunn's Creek end of Crescent lately? We are thinking about putting in at Georgia Boys Fish Camp on Dunn's Creek and running up the creek to Crescent and fishing the north end this trip.
Anyone have any info?

Send me a p.m. and I will tell you what I know. Most of my fishing on the lake is from Dunn Creek to Bear Island. Usless it comes a hard blow rarely do I fish Dead Lake.

Hey guys!! I am over from the GA board. Me and some friends are leaving tomorrow (Thursday) for Crescent Lake. Gonna be a first time for me, down that way. We will be staying at Leonard's Landing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can anybody shed some light on Dunn's Creek fishing? I see it mentioned here along with Georgia Boys. I have driven by GB's in the past. I would like to go there and fish it sometime if I had a good idea how. New to the sport. Thanks.

The best advise I can give both of you is on your way down to Cresent Lake, stop at the Bait & Tackle store in south Palatka on US 17 and buy one of the plastic maps they sell of Cresent Lake. Spend some time studying the lake, and based on the weather & wind conditions you should have a good idea of where you want to start out. Most of the people I know have been having good luck pushing or pulling jigs in the lake its self.
But this time of the year the wind conditions often dictate where you are able to fish.
