This is the website of Talquin Lodge.......they are in the process of updating their web-site. Many people from Kentucky stay there......Center of the lake which makes it easy to go up or down the lake.

Nice people and everything you need for fishing at very reasonable prices.

Heard some good reports......I would not worry about the cold as much as the wind. The fish are trapped in the water.......they can't get out and walk!

If the wind is not blowing, you should do good.

P.S. I have already graduated and did study in the past.......now I study Fishing.

Default For me, Orange is better than Lochloosa!

    Hey man,

I am also from Mississippi and live in Gainesville now! I have always had better luck on Orange, but Tom does really well on Lochloosa. The winning weight in the Crappie USA tournament two weeks ago was caught on Orange (10.85 pounds for 7 fish). You might want to try it. The ramp is right off of 441 in the town of Orange Lake. You turn right passed the BP when you come into the little town.
